Digivice
USA version

If you read about the Japanese Digivice, this page will make
alot more sense.
The DigiVice cost $12.99 each and only can be found at Toy 'R Us. The screen is smaller
and the animation is not as good as the Japanese Digivice. The American version is
EXTREMELY NOISY and PAINFUL TO HEAR! They add two mini-games: SLOTS and CARDS. The games
are used to increase or decrease the number of steps you must take to reach the
Boss-Digimon. On the SLOTS game, if you get two non-digidestent DiGimon, it
will increase your steps-to-be-completed by 100, two digidestent digimon will
decrease your steps-to-be-completed by 100, one of each does not increase/decrease your
steps.
The Japanese Digivice and the American Digivice WILL NOT battle each other.
The American Digivice will either say ERROR or will start a fight itself.
Japanese Digivice never recognizes that it is attached to anything. It will
work with the Original Digimon Virtual Pet.
Also, the American Digivice allows you to start out with GatoMon. The digivoling method
is different - the Japanese Digivice allowed one to evolve after they finished a certain
number of battles. The American Digivice requires you to shake it in order to get a chance
to battle as an evolved form; this is like the Pendulums we never got.
To help bring the Pendulums and other Digimon Virtual pet go to the
Virtual pet page.
