But the Digivice and D-3 are so cool!! 

They got throw to America...so they're safe.....right?!

Sad to say...no. The Digivice and D-3 of America have been effect by this horrible plague of Bandai's greed for money.... If you have either one of this product you would be shock on how much they really sucks.  

    The Digivice did not have the the slot game or card game nor did it have Gatomon at first. The reason for the game not being there was because Bandai of America trying to fill up some space. Gatomon came in version 2 of the Digivice, but you could not start with her. You would get Gatomon after defeating Myotismon.  Another thing that is different from Japan is that you can not digivolve  to your upper level till you find the correct idem. It makes not sense that you can have Ultimate while fight Devimon (I used Magnadramon, a mega!) The other MAJOR item that was taken out was the virtual pet part of it... you would have to hunt for food and pills to feed you partner. The thing that both digivices and D-3 are disable of is the size of their screen. In Japan, it's twice as big, giving you better picture of your favorite digimons! 

In the D-3 the took out a large number of item of the them... The two version of it are nothing alike. First off, their called D-3 which stand for :

Digimon, Detect & Discover

Digmon - it's like a v-pet, you take care of ONE digimon or your digimon partner. Depending of when you feed, train and etc. to it will effect your digimon stats and type (virus, data, vaccin). None of digimon have a default type... so it changes...

Detect - it has an antenna which is use to look for other D-3's. You then can battle with out connecting.

Discover - with this Antenna you discover Digi-eggs by trying to detect one near an electronic applicants (game boy, toys,  disc-man, etc)  and you might find one. But what the point of find the Egg of Love when I use Veemon, when Hawkmon only uses it in the show? This isn't the show, all of the digimon can use all of the Digi-eggs! 

    The other really cool thing in D-3 of Japan is that they have 3 different version of it. Each have two of the digimon of season 02. Veemon is with Wormmon (version 1), Gatomon is with Hawkmon (version 2) and Patamon is with Armadillamon (version 3). Why is it is pair that way? Because the one goes with the other and to get they high levels. Not only that but to get their mega's when they use one of Digimons from season one!

    This alone does not tell the whole story of what is missing in the American D-3. Map differences which new eggs can be found, making feel like a REAL d-3, bosses and gods,  much much more!
